How it works

Effortless Pelletizing Process

1

Material Feeding

The homegeneous mixture of raw material received from Ribbon Mixer is fed into the pellet mill using a Screw Feeder. Our Pellet Mill has an automation feature which regulates material feeding rate as per the preset motor load. This prevents overloading of the motor and damage to the pellet mill.

2

Pelletizing

The pelletizing process involves compressing biomass material into pellets using a ring die pellet mill. The material is forced through small holes in the ring die, which compresses and molds it into pellets. The size of the holes determines the size of the pellets produced. The process requires heat, pressure, and moisture to form compact and durable pellets.

3

Compression

As the vertical ring die rotates, it pushes the material through the die holes with the help of a roller. The material is compressed into small pellets under high pressure, which softens the lignin in the material and binds the pellets together.

4

Watch the Magic Happen

The pellets are cut to the desired length using an adjustable knife located at the end of the die holes. Adjusting the knife allows for flexibility in pellet length and ensures a uniform product. The hot pellets are then conveyed to Pellet Cooler for cooling.
